'Jannat 2' crew is having a tough time in Delhi. The shooting again got disrupted as fans lined up to see Emraan Hashmi and other actors.
Post actor Emraan Hashmi's bold portrayals, where he not only romanced the B-town damsels but also exhibited his artful 'lip movements' he created quite a stir. However, despite having hinted at uneasiness when girls brand him as a serial kisser, the star well recognizes his 'strengths' on-screen. But surely it is giving producers a tough time, as fans often disrupt his shoots.
Recently, when Emmi was shooting for "Jannat 2" in old Delhi in the wee hours he witnessed something, which probably rattled everyone. "There were hundreds of people spilled on the road (a shooting site). A few shouted while others simply did not move back. They wanted to meet the "Murder 2" actor," said a source.
It's for the second time something like this has happened. On October 8, when the shooting started at Chandni chowk, it got maddening there, resulting in early packup.
Even filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt remarked seeing the situation. He said, "What we have witnessed in Delhi is one example of the very fact that his fans love him." But what added to the woes was constant delay in the shooting. A source added, "The sequence, which should have taken one day was now stretched up to three days. Many a times we had to hire extra bouncers."
Bhatt, on the other hand, puts it like this, "When you take an elephant on the roads you can't expect the crowds to keep quiet. Similarly you can't expect not to have a crowd when Emraan is on the streets."
